So before we bring to you some super exciting news about the new season, we best start with the bad news…
.
We will officially be ending our twisted double knit range!
.
As we grow and evolve we have to continually make space for new patterns, new designs and for products that fit our ethos even better than the ones before. And believe us when we say, we are so so excited about what we are introducing next to replace this range.
.
So… now is your last chance to get your hands on any of our twisted double knit headbands. All remaining stock has been put onto the website and once it is gone, that is IT! So head on over to our website to check out the stock and grab one before it’s too late!
.
We promise that’s the last of the bad news! On Friday we will announcing our first new addition to the 2024 season 😍

It’s safe to say this year has totally run away

It’s safe to say this year has totally run away with us. When Fell & Broom started, as a lockdown side hustle, we had no idea we’d come back for a second year, let alone still be here now, all these years later.

And whilst our love of making these gorgeous headbands has remained constant, our own lives have changed enormously. New jobs, new houses, moves across the country, new tiny members of the team. We’ve achieved a doctorate, become wives and mothers, and understandably we now find ourselves struggling to strike the balance.

This year it felt like crunch time, if couldn’t dedicate all the time we needed to it, should we just stop? Could we really make this work with the demands of our current lives. And then suddenly September came and orders started coming in, and we were suddenly reminded of the reason we are still here in the first place. You guys!!! We wouldn’t be here without the support of you all, all those who keep buying our headbands and sharing them with those they love. We realised it isn’t about what pictures we post, or how often we post on Instagram, it’s about our amazing headbands.

So.. whilst the future of fell and broom may look a little different, one thing is for certain. There will be headbands, the beautiful handmade knits that we all know and love. We might be slightly less present on social media, but we are still very much here and working so hard behind the scenes.

So thank you thank you for reminding us that change doesn’t need to always be a good or bad thing. Sometimes it’s just a fact of life. And so here we are to embrace it.

We have some really exciting announcements coming. New colours, huge launches and one super exciting secret announcement that we can barely contain ourselves!!

It’s been a busy weekend at Fell & Broom HQ getting everything ready for our last merino launch of the season!

But when we looked outside and saw the sunshine, the fells were calling and who are we to ignore them… ☀️ a Sunday full of sunshine, beautiful views and of course, our favourite headband!

One minute we are welcoming spring and the next we’ve got a good covering of snow, swiftly followed by torrential rain and finished off with a good dose of spring sunshine!

I think we can officially say that spring is on its way! The snowdrops have sprung up, the daffodils are starting to bloom and it feels like there are fewer rainy days and more and more glimpses of sunshine ☀️

It is officially headband weather… too hot for a bobble hat, too cold to go without! Wool is THE perfect material, it thermoregulates to both warm and cool you, it is super breathable and absorbent and it is odour resistant.
.
We are getting ready for one last merino headband launch of the 23|24 season… making as many headbands as possible to bring your our BIGGEST and BEST launch ever! So stick around for updates, we will be announcing more very soon 😍

A little hello from us 👋🏻

We thought it was time we did another little introduction for anyone new who has stumbled across our page…
.
A small business based in a very sleepy village in a quiet corner of the Eden Valley, Cumbria. We started knitting and crocheting headbands during lockdown. A new skill to learn to pass the time and help ease the isolation… next thing we knew we were selling more headbands than we could make!
.
We are now unbelievably in our third year of this accidental small business, juggling this amazing journey with our full time jobs and family lives! It’s been quite the journey and we absolutely love making beautiful products that are fit for purpose, using a natural amazing fibre and made to last.
.

We owe so much to our amazing family who have helped us grow, packaged headbands late at night and posed for photos. What a weekend we had helping out at @redshepherdess pumpkin patch! We were kept extra busy weighing pumpkins, making halloween hot chocolates and face paints!

We absolutely loved meeting so many of you and it was amazing to see sooo many of you in our headbands! Keeping you toasty warm on the very frosty patch! ❄️

This year the patch is going to better than EVER! There are literally THOUSANDS of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes! Cute orange ones, ugly ones, ones with warts and all!

We are officially BACK! A little later than normal, but with all your favourite wooly winter headband essentials 😍

It has been quite the year for us here at Fell & Broom and it only feels right to give you a little glimpse into what has been keeping us so busy over the last 6 months…
.
It’s safe to change things have changed ALOT for us all at Fell & Broom HQ and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Two buns in the oven, the whole family back in the village, a proposal followed by the wedding of the year. The arrival of Blake (the 1st bun) has give us 5 months full of the most incredibly special moments and memories, as we became aunties to the most special and beautiful baby girl. Two completed PhDS, a big house move. And now we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of bun number two 👶🏼
.
So whilst things are a little different around here, we wouldn’t change it for the world ❤️ so here we are, a little later, a little bigger and with a whole lot more going on, but ready to launch our ‘23 collection!
.
